Target Switch System

Target Switch System is a product for transfer of radioactive mediums from cyclotron to hot cell, that we have developed ourselves. And it is under constant improvements and development. In 2019 we launched our new version with greater flexibility, with the newest equipment on the market. The new version is modular with a multitude of options. Like audit-trail, unlimited number of users and operator station, remote access, integrated security systems and monitoring. The Target Switch System have been developed to meet the demands for GMP and is CE certified.

More about the Target Switch System

Target Switch System is a system designed for flexible, simple and safe transfer of a radioactive product, from cyclotron to hot cells. The Target Switch System is a PLC-based system that controls multiport valves. These distribute gas or liquid from the cyclotron to unlimited number of hot cells and waste.

The Target Switch System is operated from touch screens and is designed to make it easy for operators to use.

The system integrates interlock signal from hot cells and other systems, and communicates directly with the cyclotron.

Target Switch System is made of quality components and is CE and UL certified. And meets the demands of GMP.

History of Target Switch System

The adventure of the Target Switch System started in 2006 with our first delivery to Oslo University Hospital. Soon after that the Target Switch System was international. Now the system has been delivered to all Norwegian PET centers, and we have great coverage across Scandinavia. We are seeing a greater demand across Europe. The Target Switch System is under constant improvements and in 2019 we launched our new concept which have been delivered to Aberdeen. We are excited and highly motivated to see where the Target Switch System Adventure will lead.
